Service
Rods – Replacement of Your Shakespeare® or Ugly Stik® Rod
Shakespeare® does not offer repair or parts for Shakespeare® or Ugly Stick® rods. If your rod failed due to a manufacturing defect and is still under warranty, we will be happy to replace it with a new rod of the same or comparable model. If your rod is within the original warranty period, Shakespeare® will need to inspect your rod to determine the nature of the defect. Shakespeare® is not responsible for normal wear and tear, nor failures caused by accidents, abuse, alteration, modification, misuse or improper care. This applies to either rods purchased separately or as a combo unit.
Rods NOT covered under warranty may also be submitted for replacement for a nominal fee. Please contact us directly for details.
To help us provide the best service to you please print out and complete a Product Repair/Replacement Form. Send your complete damaged rod, a completed Product Repair/Replacement Form and a money order payable to Shakespeare® for $9.95 postage and handling to the address below. Also include a copy of your dated receipt if you are requesting replacement under warranty. Reels – Service for Your Shakespeare® Reel
We’d like to help you maintain your Shakespeare® reel so that you may continue to fish with confidence. If you have an issue with your reel that requires repair we suggest that you send it to our service center for evaluation by a trained technician.
To help us best service your reel, please print out and complete a Product Repair/Replacement Form. Include the completed form, plus a money order payable to Shakespeare® for $6.50 shipping and handling, with your reel when you send it in for repair. Also include a copy of your dated receipt if you are requesting repair under warranty. Package your reel carefully to avoid damage. We suggest sending your reel via UPS or Fed-Ex (keep the tracking number). If you would rather send your reel by mail, remember to insure your package.
Note: Residents of Hawaii, Alaska and U.S. territories will be billed for return shipping via registered priority mail.

Ugly Stik® Rods
5 Year Warranty
Limited Warranty I:
For 60 days from the date of purchase, the Shakespeare Company will replace or refund the purchase price of your Ugly Stik Series rod if you are not totally delighted with the way it feels, handles, and fishes.
Limited Warranty II:
For five (5) years from the date of purchase, the Shakespeare Company will replace your Ugly Stik Series rod if it breaks, snaps, or cracks while you are fishing.
This warranty does not cover damage by addition to or alteration of the product, accident, abuse, or normal wear. This warranty does not extend to products which are put to commercial or rental use.
Shakespeare will have no other obligation and will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
Shakespeare makes no implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS for any period beyond the five year duration of this limited warranty. Some state laws do not allow exclusion of incidental or consequential damages or limitation of the duration of implied warranties, so the above exclusions might not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
7 Year Warranty
Limited Warranty I:

Zebco Warranty
Zebco products are warranted for a period of one (1) year from date of original retail purchase against defects in workmanship and/or materials. Purchaser should return defective products postage prepaid, insured with proof of purchase direct to Zebco at 6105 E. Apache, Tulsa, OK 74115. Zebco will repair or replace products at its option and return direct to purchaser.
This warranty does not cover Zebco products damaged due to abuse, misuse, normal wear, or excessive wear caused by neglect of cleaning and lubrication required or general service requirements due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
Zebco products not covered by the Zebco Limited Warranty may be repaired at a nominal charge to the purchaser, provided parts are available and the product is returned with return postage prepaid.
"ALL INCIDENTAL AND/OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY INSERT. IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE LIFE OF THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. The warranties described herein shall be the sole and exclusive warranties granted by Zebco and shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available to the purchaser. Correction of defects, in the manner and time period described herein, shall constitute complete fulfillment of all liabilities and responsibilities of Zebco to the purchaser with regard to this product, and shall constitute full satisfaction of all claims, whether based on contract, negligence, strict liability or otherwise. Zebco shall not be liable or in any way responsible for any damages or defects caused by repairs or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than an authorized servicer. Nor shall Zebco be liable, or in any way responsible, for any incidental or consequential property damage. Zebco reserves the right to amend or change this warranty at any time.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

PENN LIMITED WARRANTY
Penn Fishing Tackle Mfg. Co. warrants its Products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions caused by accident, abuse or normal expected wear. If your Penn Product has a defect within the terms of the warranty, you should return it to us at the address listed below. All shipping and insurance costs and transportation arrangements will be borne by you and are your responsibility. We will repair or replace the Product, at our option, without further cost to you, (including free return transportation and insurance). If, however, the repair is not covered by the provisions of this warranty, your Penn Product will be repaired and returned to you at a reasonable charge for labor, parts and return transportation and insurance.
ALL WARRANTIES WHICH MAY BE IMPLIED BY OPERATION OF LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
